The Absa BMI (Business Mathematics and Informatics) Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa (must show a barcoded Identity Document)
- Has at least a 70% average aggregate score for Mathematics and English in Grade 11

Candidates must provide the following documents to accompany their online application:
- A comprehensive letter of motivation explaining why you deserve the bursary (must not exceed more than 1 page)
- Complete Grade 11 results slip (and your most updated Matric results if available)
- Must show proof that candidate has applied and have enrolled into the BMI programme at NWU (or planning to enroll).
All these documents must be included in your application dossier. Incomplete dossiers will not be considered by the selection committee.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Submissions made past the closing date will not be acknowledged during the registration period.
