Candidates interested in the Shoprite Group Bursaries must fulfill an eligibility criteria before proceeding with their applications. The Shoprite Group Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
1. Basic Requirements
- Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
- Currently 27 years old and below.
2. Accounting (CA Stream – SAICA)
- Possesses a BCom Accounting, BAcc (CA stream) qualification
- Currently in their 2nd academic year
- Attained at least a 65% average aggregate score.
3. Information Technology/Systems
- Possesses a BSc/BCom/Btech (Advanced Diploma) in the field of Information
- Technology/System Analysis
- Currently in their 2nd-4th or Honours academic year
4. Data Science
- Possesses either a degree or postgraduate qualification in the following subjects:
- Industrial Engineering
- Operational Research
- Quantitative Management
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Currently in their 2nd-4th or Honours academic year
- Attained at least a 60% aggregate score
- Obtained at least 65% in Mathematics from their 2nd academic year

Candidates are required to create an account to proceed with your registration. This account will be used to store your personal details and supporting documents. Make sure you keep your account secure at all times.
By sending in your applications, you are hereby giving permission to the selection committee to have your personal information utilized for registration purposes.
