Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the Mercedes-Benz Graduate Development Programme must fulfill an extensive eligibility criteria. Each of these items below will determine whether you are capable enough of the graduate programme or not. To guarantee a successful registration, it is advisable that you meet all these requirements. Failure to do so will cause disadvantageous consequences towards the overall results of your applications.
The Mercedes-Benz Graduate Development Programme Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Apply if you have graduated within the last 3 years
- Be a South African Citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa
- Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Possess a relevant Tertiary Qualification with an average pass mark of 65%, which will be advantageous
- Ensure you have completed the qualification
- Apply if you are a recently qualified graduate with a full National Diploma/Degree or relevant Tertiary qualification in the following fields:
- Information Technology or Computer Sciences
- Accounting or Financial Management, with a focus on Taxation
- Business Management, specializing in Business Processes, Project Management, or Business Administration
- Human Resources
- Marketing Management
- Logistics Management

Applications must be submitted through this online application portal. However, you will need to create an account to proceed with the registration. Make sure that sign up for an account in order to access the portal.
Since the account will be used to store all of your personal details and supporting documents, please keep the account secure from others. Never share your account credentials, especially your password, with others.
The Mercedes-Benz Graduate Development Programme application form must also have several important documents attached, such as:
- Your most updated Curriculum Vitae (preferably in PDF format)
- Valid copies of your Grade 12 qualifications (certified)
- Valid copies of your tertiary qualifications (certified)
- Your most recent tertiary academic track record
- A valid copy of your Identity Document

Closing Date
Applications for the Mercedes-Benz Graduate Development Programme must be submitted before the closing date on 24 January 2025.
The selection committee will not be accepting any applications sent past the deadline. Candidates found to be making late submissions will automatically not be considered for registration.
Since applications take place online, it is advised that you process your registration as soon as possible. Not only will this give you more time to double check your applications, it also helps to prevent unwanted incidents that occurs with last-minute registrations (e.g. heavy Internet traffic).
