- LLM (Masters in Law)
- B.Sc or B Eng in Mechatronics Engineering
- Doctoral degree in Engineering
- B.Sc Hons or B Eng Hons in Electrical Engineering
- B.Com Hons or BTech in Supply Chain Management
- B.Sc Hons in Computer Science (specialising in software development)
- B.Com Honours
- B.Com Hons/Masters in Marketing
The Conlog Bursaries provides financial assistance that covers multiple student-related needs, which includes:
- Tuition expenses
- Accommodation costs (private/residence)
- Daily meals
- Prescribed study materials
- A personal computer
- Transportation fees
Selected awardees must perform obligatory work for Conlog upon successful completion of their studies for a total period in which they were under the bursary for. Additionally, candidates must be willing to undergo through vacation work and other forms of training.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the Conlog Bursaries must first meet certain qualifying requirements. Each of the criteria below will decide whether you qualify for this bursary. Candidates are recommended to fulfill all of the following criteria to ensure a successful application. Failure to do so will have a detrimental effect on the overall outcome of your applications. The Conlog Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Officially recognised as a legitimate South African citizen
- Possesses a minimum 60% score for their 2020 final exams (must be maintained throughout the June 2021 exams – if available)
- Preference is offered to candidates who display immediate need for financial aid
- Candidates with high performance will be offered a priority.

On the portal, please sign up for a Xhuma account. This account will be integral throughout the entire registration period as it stores all of your personal information. Be sure to keep your account safe from unwanted strangers.
Please input only accurate information and academic transcripts that represents your current conditions. Please be kindly informed that the information you share will be vetted by the selection committee. Anyone found to be making false claims will be disqualified.
Candidates are expected to provide the following documents:
- Your Identity Document/Passport/Birth Certificate
- Legitimate proof of address from your guardian/parents
- All of your most updated academic results slips
- Legitimate proof of income from your guardians/parents (please provide an affidavit if you are unemployed).
All these documents should be included in your dossiers. Applications that are missing any one document will be disqualified from the programme.
Once everything’s settled, please choose a funder from the available options. Candidate must be aware that the information they provide will be shared to their potential funders.
Candidates must process their applications through the portal provided above. Submissions made through other methods, such as email or fax, will not be accepted by the selection committee.
Closing Date
Applications for the Conlog Bursaries 2022 must be submitted before the closing date on 30 September 2021.
The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Submissions made past the closing date will not be acknowledged during the registration period.
