FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) is inviting Grade 12 students from the class fof 2023 for their bursary. The FASSET Bursary program is designed to help students from different financial backgrounds, to achieve their educational goals. The bursary aims to provide financial assistance to students who might not have access to adequate resources, and who are looking to enroll in a public TVET college, University of Technology or university.

Recipients of the bursary will receive the necessary support to pursue their academic qualifications. The program highly encourages students with exemplary academic scores and valuable qualities to apply for this opportunity. Applicants will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to their academic pursuits, along with a passion for the chosen field of study. The bursary will cover tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, and meal allowances.

The FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) Bursaries is offered to the following qualifications.

Bursaries will be awarded up to a capped amount – up to R100 000 for University/University of Technology studies, and up to R40 000 for TVET studies.

  • Auditing
  • IT related qualifications.

2. Funded TVET qualifications

  • IT – related qualifications
  • Business stream related.

Eligibility Criteria

Closing Date
Applications for the FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 15 February 2024.

Applications received after the deadline will not be considered by the selection committee. Contributions sent after the deadline won’t be recognized while registration is open.
