Africa Cosmos Education Trust is offering bursary programmes for candidates who are keen on obtaining financial aid to boost their 2023 academic year. The Africa Cosmos Education Trust Bursaries is provided for candidates who are pursuing their N4-N6, Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Honours, Masters, Doctorate, PhD) education and are planning to receive these qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, and National Certificate.

The Africa Cosmos Education Trust Bursaries is available for the following study fields:

• Information Systems and Computer Science
• Commerce and Economics

• Business Administration
• Analytics
• Information Technology
• Business Analysis
• Electrical Computer Systems Engineering
• Security and Safety Management
• Forensic Science and Technology
• Human Resource Management
• Computer Engineering
• Procurement
• Risk Management
• Quantitative Finance
• Project Management

Selected candidates will be entitled to the following remunerations: registration costs, tuition expenses, examination fees, accommodation costs, prescribed study materials, once-off allowance.

Eligibility Criteria
First and foremost, you must familiarize yourself with the Africa Cosmos Education Trust Bursaries eligibility standards. Each of these criteria will influence whether or not you would be an excellent candidate. Ideally, if you want to enhance your chances of success, you should be able to meet all of the requirements on the following list.

The Africa Cosmos Education Trust Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

• Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
• Accomplished your Matric qualification
• Planning to study or already enrolled in one of the qualifications mentioned above
• Planning to study or already enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
• Not older than 35 years old
• Unemployed at the moment
• Obtained an acceptable pass rate for the entire duration of your studies
• Can maintain a great acceptance track record
• Is not accepting any other bursary awards or financial aid.

Please fill out the application site with your most relevant responses by typing them into the appropriate areas. All of the personal information you submit should be accurate and correspond to your actual circumstances.

Candidates will also need to provide these documents:

• Must be attached to the first page of the application is a photo (passport or ID size).
• Identity card or passport (certified copy)
• Matric qualification
• Detailed academic records, if you’re still taking classes
• Proof of your institution’s preliminary acceptance
• Tax statement detailing the price of books, lodging, and tuition (if applicable)
• Letter of recommendation from a lecturer, principal, faculty dean, or educator (whichever is applicable)
• Evidence of the number of dependents and household income
• A monthly budget for the family’s expenses and income
• The guardians or parents Passports or ID cards
• Affidavit of unemployment for parents or guardians
• Academic resume
• Evidence of address Medical records, if necessary

• A letter of reccomendation from your parents or legal guardians (optional).

Before submitting, please kindly take note of the application precautions:

• Arrange documents according to the checklist on page 9 of the application form
• Submit all application forms, essays, and supporting documents in a single PDF document if applying via email
• Ensure that supporting documents are certified and not more than 3 months old
• Provide all required information and provide an explanation if unable to do so
• Indicate when outstanding documentation will be available and submit it as soon as possible
• Submit your course accreditation number after registration.

Closing Date
Applications for the Africa Cosmos Education Trust Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 17 March 2023.

Announcements will only be made to shortlisted candidates. If you do not hear back from the selection committee by the very latest 14 April 2023, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for the programme.

Late applications will not be accepted by the selection committee, and candidates must submit their applications before the closing date to be considered for registration.

It is recommended that applicants send in their materials early to allow time for careful evaluation. Please prepare your application at your earliest convenience.
