• For the best cash flow and credit terms, keep track of accurate and timely payments to suppliers and make sure funds are transferred between bank accounts on time
• Keeping track of monthly reconciliations, approving all transactions, and controlling journals
• Ascertain the presence of financial control systems
• To ensure compliance with the financial policy (IFRS), processes, and procedures, report financial irregularities and problems
• Protect financial data by performing database backups
• Give clerks direction on reconciliations and supplier inquiries
• Utilizing current computer technology, develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems
• Keep an eye out for unanswered questions regarding the clerks’ supplier reconciliations
• Responding to inquiries from clients via phone or letter
• Make certain that suppliers are informed of any changes to policies or procedures.
• Assist in the creation of annual financial statements
• Examining and sending month-end statements, grouping them as needed
• Reconciling complicated accounts that the Accounts Payable team has escalated
• Deal with vendor payment issues
