About SA Youth
SAYouth is a platform that provides access to a network that may be used to find study and employment possibilities in your region of residence. It is a completely free chance for young jobless South Africans to assist you in connecting to employment via a variety of services and work ready training options.

As part of the “Presidential Youth Employment Intervention,” the platform has received support from Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, the Department of Employment and Labour, the Department of Higher Education and Training, the National Youth Development Agency, and the Development Bank of South Africa.

About the SA Youth Learnership 2022
SA Youth is providing a learnership programme based in multiple locations in South Africa to help you upskill your abilities through well-rounded curriculums. THe SA Youth Learnership encourages young people to become active participants in their country’s democracy while both earning a living and enhancing their employability prospects. This is a program aimed at solving the persistent problem of young unemployment in South Africa.

Before joining the learnership, participants must be aware of the following duties:

• Will be allocated to a group and will be required to remain a member of that group for the duration of the contract
• A timesheet is required in order to record the real hours done in the community under the supervision of a Team Leader. It is necessary to log in and out in order to record the actual hours worked in the community
• Over the course of six months, you can expect to work 16 hours each week chargeable
• It is anticipated that participants will take part in the economic strengthening training over the six-month period of the contract.

The SA Youth Learnership Eligibliity Criteria are as follows:

• Currently between 18 to 35 years old
• Living within the project area
• Is not currently employed or pursuing their studies
• Has at least a Grade 12 qualification
• Originating from a previously disadvantaged background
• Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa.

Candidates must create an account on the application portal in order to submit their applications. This account must be logged into for the duration of the registration process.

By submitting your applications, you grant the selection committee permission to use your personal information to register you for the event.

Applicants’ applications will be subjected to additional scrutiny and vetting procedures to ensure their legitimacy. Anyone found to be falsifying any aspect of their applications will be barred from taking part in the registration period.

Closing Date
Applications for the SA Youth Learnership must be submitted before the closing date on 29 April 2022.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Submissions made past the closing date will not be acknowledged during the registration period.
