About the Dept of Sport, Arts, and Culture Young Creatives Programme 2024
The Dept of Sport, Arts, and Culture is looking for candidates in the Creatives and Cultural industries to participate in a National Youth Service programme. This initiative serves as a platform to recognize and empower young individuals who possess a passion for the arts and culture, allowing them to unleash their creativity and drive positive change. The Dept of Sport, Arts, and Culture Young Creatives Programme requires you to fulfill the following duties:

  • Organize and execute arts and cultural activities in Community Arts Centre and schools
  • Mobilize schools and youth formations to actively participate in The Young Creatives Programme and engage in activities at the Community Arts Centre and their local community
  • Implement, coordinate, and provide support for The Young Creatives Programme events within the community
  • Foster and maintain relationships with local community organizations and other youth groups in the community
  • Administer the monitoring process of The Young Creatives Programme implementation in schools and at the Community Arts Centre
  • Dedicate yourself to personal development and growth.

Selected applicants will be entitled to a monthly stipend of R4 000.

  2. I am looking for a job and i met the criteria but the age thing is killing us who has the developmental skills to execute the assignment or task given in the roles and responsibilities.

    Government must really look to the age of 35 and above. Why are we killed like this due to age?!!!!
