Sovereign Foods is offering apprenticeship opportunities for twenty (20) talented participants that will be conducted for a total of four years in the company. The Sovereign Foods Apprenticeships 2020-2023 is designed to provide individuals with the tools and resources to sharpen your respective crafts. Under the expertise of renowned professionals, you can work your way up to receive an accredited National Certificate.

Upon acceptance into the programme, selected apprentices will be assigned to the company’s Maintenance Department. Here, apprentices must be ready to tackle on real-time working responsibilities which require their knowledge and skills in the field. Since the apprenticeship takes place in both Hartbeespoort and Uitenhage, apprentices are expected to switch between these two operation sites from time to time.

  • Diesel Mechanic (1 position)
  • Fitting & Turning (1 position)
  • Mechatronics – Automation specialist (2 positions)

Eligibility Criteria
