About the Sasol YES (Youth Employment Service) 2023
Sasol is offering a YES (Youth Employment Service) programme to help unemployed individuals receive the necessary opportunities to obtain work exposure. In partnership with the government, the YES (Youth Employment Service) Program is a business-led initiative. YES aims to minimize young unemployment in both the business and public sectors via a variety of initiatives. The goal is to provide more adolescents with the opportunity to learn new skills and obtain valuable working experience, which will, in turn, dramatically increase their prospects of finding long-term job.

Having signed the CEO Initiative, Sasol is committed to supporting measures that will contribute to developing a more equitable South African economy. Aiming to achieve this goal, Sasol is providing assistance to the YES Program as part of the CEO Initiative. In partnership with the Sasol YES Programme, more than 400 formerly jobless adolescents have been given the chance to get valuable work experience at Sasol.

Please be kindly informed that:

• If a decision is made by the competent department to absorb the learner into a permanent or standard NPE post, the Sasol YES (Youth Employment Service) contract will automatically terminate after 12 months
• Sasol YES Learners get a monthly stipend
• The Sasol YES initiative includes a development plan that is designed to help YES individuals in acquiring necessary skills.
