About the NWK Learnerships 2022-2023
NWK is offering NQF Level 4 learnerships for South African individuals interested in Business Administration, as well as Wholesale and Retails Operations. The NWK Learnerships, conducted in Lichtenburg, consists of a structured learning curriculum that combines both theoretical assessments and practical working sessions. Each learnership is conducted for a total duration of one year, in which learners are expected to fully commit themselves to. Guided by a professional training provider, learners will work their way up towards their respective qualification. Upon successful completion, not only will you receive an NQF Level 4 certificate, but you will be transformed into a valuable asset in the eyes of your future employers.

The available NWK Learnerships are as follows:
1. Business Administration (NQF 4)
This learnership is catered to candidates who are interested in delving into the world of administration work. Workers who are typically designed to work in administration are administrative assistants, clerks, secretaries, and administrators.

2. Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF 4)
This learnership is catered to candidates who have a knack of performing in operation functions within a wholesale and retail environment. Interested candidates of the programme should possess knowledge in numeracy, business management, stock management, and distribution centres.

3. Generic Management (NQF 4)
This learnership is designed to enhance learners’ skills who have the objective of pursuing careers as line managers, team leaders or supervisors in a corporate context.

If join this learnership, learners will learn: leadership skills, disaster risk management, mathematics in business, team building, as well as problem solving, & business communications. Students will be exposed to the retail distribution sector.

Eligibility Criteria
The NWK Learnerships is encouraging candidates of different walks of life to be a part of the programmes. Before you get started on your applications, candidates must fulfill a criteria to be considered qualified enough for the programme. These items will determine the success rate of your applications. Failure to comply to the requirements might reduce your chances of getting accepted by the selection committee.

The NWK Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

• Possesses a Grade 12 qualification
• Unemployed
• Graduates will also be considered
• Assessments are required to be administered for selection purposes
• Preference will be given to candidates took Computer Applications Technology in high school
• Assessments are required to be administered for selection purposes
• Finished a Business Administration NQF 3/Wholesale and Retail NQF 3/Generic Management NQF 3 Learnership (optional, but advantageous).

Candidates are expected to provide accurate personal details about themselves during registration. Any necessary documents or qualifications should correctly reflect your current conditions as well. Failure to comply to these will disqualify your applications from the registration period.

Applications received by the selection committee will be subjected to further evaluation and vetting. Be sure to double check your application contents before sending them.

Closing Date
Applications for the NWK Learnerships must be submitted before the closing date on 11 March 2022.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Candidates discovered to be making their submissions past the deadline will not be considered for the learnership.

Announcements will only be made to candidates who have been shortlisted for the programme. Should you not receive any notifications within two (2) weeks past the deadline, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for the programme.
