Magalies Water is a water utility establishment that is responsible for distributing bulk water and sanitation services to surrounding areas and partnering industries. Formed under Section 28 of the Water Services Act 108 of 1997, Magalies Water mainly provides for the areas based in Limpopo, Gauteng, and North West. At the moment, the establishment is under the direct supervision of the Minister of the Department of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation. About the Magalies Water Learnership 2021-2022
Magalies Water is offering a learnership programme for South African individuals who are interested in receiving a solid work foundation in the company. The Magalies Water Learnership is a remarkable opportunity that allows young folks to better prepare themselves for this particular line of work. Learners will be subjected to a structured curriculum that combines both theoretical assessments and practical working sessions in a real-time company setting. Under the guidance of professional training providers, you will understand your progress better and be given feedback to work on throughout the learnership.
The Magalies Water Learnership is available for candidates interested in the Water Treatment and Process Control field. Once you have completed the programme, you will be entitled to an NQF 2 qualification accredited by EWSETA. However, this is provided that you show exemplary progress throughout the learnership. The Magalies Water Learnership will be conducted over the course of 12 months. Learners will be entitled to a stipend of R2 000 per month to support their journey.

- Possesses a Grade 12/Senior Certificate with key subjects in Maths and Science, or other relevant certifications

Note: preference will be offered to residents who are based within the Magalies Water Operational Plants (Lethabong, Vaalkop, and Bojating).
