Macsteel is offering apprenticehip programmes for South African individuals who wish to obtain credible working experience under a real-time company setting. The Macsteel Apprenticeships is a wonderful opportunity that exposes you to the inner workings of the industry. As an apprentice, you will be working together with other members to perform your assigned responsibilities. Over the course of 24 weeks (6 months), apprentices are required to report to a training centre for their Institutional Training.

The Macsteel Apprenticeships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
1. Educational Requirements
- N3 qualification in four technical subjects from a FET college, or
- Technical Grade 12 qualification, or
- Academic Grade 12 qualification with Maths and Science, as well as N2 trade theory subjects.
2. Other Requirements
- Obtained at least a 50% average aggregate score for your subjects
- Prepared to fully commit themselves throughout the entire duration of the programme
- Willing to undergo multiple assessments to check aptitude, perception, and other relevant skills.
