• Promptly report additional work required to journeyman/technician
• Seek authorization before performing additional work or dismantling components
• Obtain technical guidance from journeyman/technician for challenging jobs
• Adhere strictly to manufacturer’s technical specifications or instructions from journeyman
• Follow workshop policies and procedures diligently
• Document all work performed on the back of Repair Order, if necessary
• Collect used parts (except oil and fuel filters) in a plastic bag and place on passenger floor
• Tag all warranty replaced parts according to rules and hand them over to the Parts Department
• Record all used oils and parts on the Repair Order
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and utilize provided protective items
• Keep work bay safe, clean, and organized
• Record start and completion times on the Repair Order
• Report any faulty or broken equipment to journeyman/technician
• Handle special tools and equipment with utmost care
• Possess a complete set of tools as per RMI standards and keep them in good working condition
• Maintain a tidy appearance, changing overalls after heavy repairs
• Foster a positive relationship with workshop staff.
