MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) is offering learnership programmes for South African individuals interested in the professional Maritime Industry. The MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) Learnerships is a remarkable opportunity that consists of 3 phases, which includes:

  • A National Certificate in International Trade
  • A National Certificate in Freight Forwarding & Customs Compliance
  • Further Education & Training Certificate in Shipping.

Each of these phase runs for a period of 12 months. As part of the learnership, MSC will fully subside the costs that comes with the studies, and learners will be entitled to a monthly allowance as well as an annual bonus – so long as it meets the criteria of the learnership. Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be entitled to a qualification that is nationally recognised, followed by experiential training sessions.

  1. I went for an interview and waited almost 2 hours to be seen. Only to be told that due to having a family and responsibilities i cant be given the learnership. Which i felt was a bad reason. Very disappointed as i expected more from such a well known company.
