About the BKB Traineeship 2024

The BKB Traineeship offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the dynamic Fibre Trading industry. As a trainee, you will embark on a journey of professional and personal growth, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of warehouse operations. This role will provide you with valuable insights and practical knowledge, enabling you to understand the intricacies of fibre trading and enhancing your skill set in a real-world environment.

In your role within the fibre trading team, you will be tasked with ensuring the quality and integrity of fibres throughout the organisation. This involves overseeing the processes to maintain an optimal flow of fibres, collaborating daily with the Fibre Management team to uphold wool standards, and ensuring all activities comply with relevant ISO standards. Your responsibilities will be critical in maintaining the high standards expected in the fibre trading industry, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the operations.

The BKB Traineeship Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

1. Basic Qualifcations

  • Hold a diploma or degree in Agriculture with comprehensive knowledge of wool typing
  • Showcase strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Be fluent in both English and Afrikaans
  • Complete the Springbokkop training (both theory and practical components)
  • Preferably have AWEX-ID certification.
