About the Givaudan Production Operator Learnership 2026
Givaudan is looking for applicants who would like to improve their theoretical knowledge and practical skills within the profession as a qualified Production Operator. In the Givaudan Production Operator Learnership, you will be responsible for executing fundamental operations on specific machinery and production equipment, including (but not limited to) blenders, sieves, spray dryer systems, batching systems, multipurpose reactors, spinning cone columns, bulk tanks, Roxane robots, packaging systems, ovens, mills, and distillation columns (stills).

Additionally, you will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Engage in one of the following tasks: blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, heating, cooking, adding enzymes, or compounding
  • Gather intermediates or raw materials, then transport and load them into production machinery
  • Comprehend bill of materials and/or formula specifications to ensure accurate addition of materials in the correct sequence
  • Execute manufacturing processes safely and efficiently, adhering to predefined procedures to meet specific quality standards
  • Precisely interpret control instruments and maintain meticulous records for all operations as necessary
  • Address issues with guidance from more experienced Operators or offer assistance as required
  • Contribute to in-process quality testing to verify adherence to customer specifications, noting any deviations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Prepare product packaging for subsequent production stages or final shipment to customers, following departmental guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and workplace, completing sanitation and housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Adhere to relevant standards including GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety protocols
  • Initiate process enhancements proactively and participate in Lean activities within designated areas.
