About the Arup Education Trust
The Arup Education Trust was established in 2011, and its mission is to improve the quality of life of those who have traditionally been at a disadvantage via the means of education. The Arup Education Trust is a proud owner of a thirty percent stake in Arup (Pty) Limited, the Arup group’s corporate parent company. Arup is the innovative driving force behind a significant number of the world’s most notable construction endeavors in the built environment.
Because the Trust is dedicated to the intellectual and professional progress of women, at least fifty percent of each year’s grantees are required to be female. Beneficiaries are expected to pursue a degree in the built environment, but they are not obligated to work for Arup in exchange for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

- Studying at a recognised &accredited tertiary institution in SA
- Students who are in their first year are highly encouraged to register
- Must display academic excellence.
