  • Hail from a disadvantaged community.
  • Ensure your parents or guardians are unemployed, classified as indigent, or earning less than R3,500 per month.
  • Demonstrate financial need and an inability to afford tertiary studies without financial support.
  • Do not be a child of a councillor or official.
