Elangeni TVET is a technical and vocational education and training institution. Located in and around the city of Durban, in the province of KwaZulu Natal. The South African Department of Higher Education and Learning supports the institution’s provision of higher education learning. The South African Bureau of Standards has also given its approval to it.
The university provides full-time, part-time, and long distance learning opportunities via a variety of programs delivered from eight different sites. It also offers bursary programs, such as the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), as well as various types of financial assistance to students.

The Elangeni TVET College Learnerships & Apprenticeships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
1. General Requirements
- Officially recognised as a citizen of South Africa
- Has officially finished their Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics and Science
- Preference is offered to candidates who have not been a part of other programs funded by the government.
2. Learnership Requirements
- Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
- Between 18-35 years old
- Currently unemployed
- Has a qualification to the relevant qualification programme:
- Plant Production L2: Grade 9
- Food & Beverages L4: Grade 11
- Plumbing L4: Grade 11
- Building & Civil Construction L3: Grade 10
3. Apprenticeship Requirements
- Electrician: Ntuzuma Campus
- Mechanical: Ntuzuma Campus
