• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an underground (UG) maintenance environment
• Strong knowledge of MHSA (Mine Health and Safety Act), safety systems, and adherence to safety regulations and standards
• Demonstrated excellent safety record
• Proficient in understanding and working with equipment, tools, and their applications
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English
• Ability to handle pressure in a production environment, be innovative, and self-motivated
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting
• Skilled in identifying faults and repairing defects without supervision
• Possession of a valid K53 driver’s license and own transportation
• Currently in possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness.

C. Advantageous

• Possession of a Gas Testing and Flameproofing Certificate
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems
• Proficient in operating LHD 170LP, Bird machines, Wagner, and Sandvik TS 490 forklift
• Holds a valid Code 10 driver’s license.
