The Royal Bafokeng Heritage Holdings (RBH) and the Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust (RBNDT) have been given the one-of-a-kind responsibility of maintaining and expanding the financial capital of the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN), which is a progressive traditional community consisting of 29 villages located in the Rustenburg valley.

About the RBH (Royal Bafokeng Holdings) CA (Chartered Accountant) Bursary 2027
RBH (Royal Bafokeng Holdings) is offering generous financial aid for learners planning to pursue their full-time studies at a SAICA accredited university. The RBH (Royal Bafokeng Holdings) CA (Chartered Accountant) Bursary was established in the year 2020 with the intention of assisting the youth of the RBN to develop skills that will help contribute to the economy of the country and to build a skills pipeline that has the potential to feed into the RBH Chartered Accountancy trainee program over time.
This initiative is made available thanks to a collaboration between the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and Thuthuka. It will provide financial assistance to three students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and who wish to continue their education. The award will cover the applicant’s registration, tuition, and residence fees at any university in South Africa, in addition to providing financial assistance to finish their studies there. This bursary is all-inclusive.
Eligibility Criteria

- Must be a 1st year student in 2027
- Must have achieved the following minimum academic results:
- Mathematics: Level 5 or higher (Maths Literacy and Technical Maths learners are NOT considered)
- English: Level 5 or higher
- Accounting: Level 5 or higher
- Must not be a recipient of any other bursary in 2027, including NSFAS.

- Legitimate proof of residence – Lekwalo la Kgosana (Not older than 3 months)
- Certified Matric certificate, if completed matric
- Proof of registration or provisional acceptance of University letter
- Certified ID copy (Not older than 3 months)
- Grade 11 results together with Grade 12 Term 1 – 3 results.
Important note: should you be shortlisted for the bursary, you will be asked to provide your parents’/guardians’ ID document.
