You will need to perform the duties below:

  • Develop skills to effectively manage yourself, lead others, and guide a team
  • Gain insight into business operations and departmental functions through methods like SWOT analyses
  • Identify strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service while minimizing costs by applying modern process techniques
  • Familiarize yourself with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial workflows, and suggest ways to optimize expenses or cut costs
  • Focus on achieving satisfaction for both internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Understand the sales cycle and how the business maintains effective sales management, maximizes employee productivity, and manages resources and costs efficiently
  • Recommend operational solutions to improve efficiency in areas such as technical requirements, guarding services, cash processing, armed response, business development, and sales
  • Promote a zero-harm workplace culture by adhering to OH&S and COIDA policies
  • Study the contracts between customers and Fidelity Services Group to ensure compliance and understanding
  • Explore the organisation’s culture and familiarize yourself with various Human Capital processes
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, including community leaders, employer organisations, SAPS, and community forums
  • Understand the implications of key legislation, such as the BCEA, NKP Act, PSIRA Act, Firearms Control Act, POPI Act, and Criminal Procedures Act, and ensure adherence to ISO standards
  • Complete the required registration under the PSIRA Act during the designated period.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria that has been standardized in the Fidelity Services Group – Graduate Programme. These requirements are necessary for the selection committee as it will be used to assess candidates on a fair basis. The Fidelity Services Group Graduate Programme Requirements are as follows:

1. Basic Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
    • Operations Management
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science
    • Engineering
    • General Management
  • Obtain a postgraduate qualification, as it will be considered an added advantage.
  • Possess a valid South African driver’s licence.
  • Own a reliable vehicle for travel-related responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clear criminal record.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be willing to travel and participate in job rotations across various business units as required by the programme.
