• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures consistently
• Follow Plant policies for proper disposal of materials
• Maintain safe work areas, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs
• Report and investigate any accidents or incidents
• Perform statutory inspections on plant and equipment, and maintain records
• Participate in toolbox talks for knowledge sharing and safety discussions
• Submit Safety, Maintenance, Availability, Training, and Standards (SMATS) reports monthly as per safety requirements
• Assist in achieving daily production targets by improving equipment availability and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
• Collaborate in planning the annual maintenance schedule and ensure successful execution of shutdowns with the artisans
• Learn and support process analysis, cycle time (time study), and continuous improvement projects within the plant
• Learn and assist in maintenance planning and tracking shutdown progress
• Conduct WCM (World Class Manufacturing) activities, including implementing 5S methodology
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules according to the plan
• Conduct machinery inspections based on checklists and document necessary maintenance work
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts for maintenance purposes
• Aid in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and components
• Support the maintenance team in attending to breakdowns promptly and resolving them within minimal turnaround times, following escalation procedures if necessary
• Compile reports on work done
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to empower operators to troubleshoot minor stoppages
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to breakdowns, quality issues, and material losses
• Be available on standby after working hours to provide assistance to artisans when needed.
