Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the Columbus Stainless Steel Apprenticeships should first ensure they meet the specified qualifying criteria.   • Ensure you meet the education requirements – obtain at least an N3/Matric with Mathematics and Science along with two pertinent Trade-related subjects, each with a minimum score of 50%. Alternatively, possess 7 subjects at NCV Level 4, including Mathematics and Science, with a minimum score of 50% for each
  • Demonstrate practical and logical skills – show your aptitude for equipment maintenance and logical problem-solving
  • Maintain good health – ensure you are medically fit for the position
  • Confirm your South African citizenship – verify your South African citizenship status
  • Be ready for shifts and overtime – exhibit your willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when necessary
  • Reside in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality if possible – if you have the option, consider residing in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, as preference will be given to candidates from this area.
