CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority) is offering a learnership programme for individuals who wish to obtain beneficial work related skills. The CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority) Learnership is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and competencies required in the construction industry.

Participants will receive comprehensive training in various aspects of construction, including technical skills, safety regulations, project management, and industry best practices. Eligibility Criteria
You must first get familiar with the learnership eligibility requirements set out by CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority). Your ability to meet each of these requirements will determine if you are a strong contender. Please see the list of required qualifications below if you wish to double-check your credentials. Ideally, you should be able to fulfill every condition on the following list if you want to improve your chances of success.

The CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority) Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

A. Community House Building

• Grade 10 or Grade 12 Certificate

B. Building and Civil Construction

• Grade 9 Certificate
• 50% pass in Mathematics

C. Plumbing

• Grade 9 Certificate
• Life Orientation
• English
• Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy

You can collect your application form from the Human Resource Management Section located at the Old Nedbank Building on Van Riebeeck Street in Bredasdorp. Please visit your respective Municipal Offices to obtain the form.

You will also need to send in an email with a copy of the following items:

• A newly certified Identity Document
• Your most updated Curriculum Vitae with your most updated contact details
• A newly certified Grade 12 certificate

Alternatively, you may choose to hand deliver your applications.

By submitting your applications, you are granting the selection committee authorization to use your personal information for the purpose of registration.

The applications will undergo further scrutiny and assessment to verify the authenticity of the applicants. Individuals who are discovered to have provided false information on their applications will be ineligible for registration during the specified period.

Applicants are required to utilize the provided portal for processing their applications. Submissions made through alternative methods like fax will not be accepted by the selection committee.

Closing Date
Applications for the CETA (Construction Education and Training Authority) Learnership must be submitted before the closing date on 26 May 2023.

Applications received after the deadline will not be considered by the selection committee. Submissions sent after the deadline won’t be recognized while registration is open.

It is encouraged that applicants submit their applications as soon as feasible. You will then have some time to thoroughly assess the information in your applications. Please have your applications ready as soon as possible.
