In order to provide comprehensive and patient-centered psychosocial aspects of HIV Care at our supported health facilities and in our outreach campaigns, the Anova Health Institute Job Vacancy as Social Auxiliary Worker is seeking a Social Auxiliary Worker who is passionate about leading a team of Men who have sex with other Men (MSM).
Selected candidates will be required to perform the duties below:
- Give MSMs participating in the program with secure and private psychological or crisis interventions
- Support for trauma containment may be given to MSM as needed
- Give MSM customers’ social reintegration and family reconciliation significant attention
- Check on each client’s compliance with ART, TB therapy, or PEP during follow-up visits
- Provide Outreach Workers with pre- and post-HIV testing counseling as needed
- Encourage the referral of whatever services the Individual needs
- Complete the necessary data gathering instruments
- Take part in the program’s general activities as appropriate
- Carry out program-related office administration tasks
- Regularly attend meetings, briefings, debriefings, staff meetings, and other events as instructed
- Make sure you uphold the organization’s culture and ideals and represent it with pride
- Serve as an example to help Senior Ambassadors, MSM, and Outreach Workers improve their behavior for the better.
