About the Spur Corporation Operations Cadets Learnership 2023-2024
Spur Corporation is providing applicants with the chance to obtain valuable new knowledge under their company with their Operations Cadets Learnership. During the Spur Corporation Operations Cadets Learnership, participants will acquire practical knowledge across all Spur Brands and theoretical training in a generic management qualification at the NQF 5 level, over a period of 12 months.
Throughout the learnership, you will be required to perform the following responsibilities:
- Take part in Operations meetings to discuss store turnover and improvement plans
- Attend follow-up meetings based on the minutes of previous meetings
- Monitor the off-takes of branded products and Central Kitchen
- Ensure the timely collection of debtors and declarations/turnover listings to check for accuracy
- Make sure that there is a strategic plan in place in the store to maximize turnover
- Conduct follow-ups on the effectiveness of the strategic plan
- Complete monthly reports on quality and hygiene within 10 days and carry out ‘C’ follow-ups
- Finish monthly service assessments within 10 days and conduct ‘C’ follow-ups
- Train management, casuals, and staff by utilizing available materials like videos
- Attend management meetings with owners and management every two months to create action plans
- Use tools like casual and management tests to identify the main problems in the store.
