The Wynberg Boys’ Junior School Learnership is a series of programmes that are tailored towards Grades RI3 (Foundation Phase), as well as Grades 4-7 (InterSen Phase). If you are registered as a student of UNISA, and is in the midst of pursuing your studies in the teaching department, you are more than encouraged to give this opportunity a shot.

Eligibility Criteria
To be a qualified candidates of the Wynberg Boys’ Junior School Learnership, you will need to fulfill a series of requirements beforehand. Each of these items play an integral role in ensuring you get a spot in the learnership. The Wynberg Boys’ Junior School Learnership Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

1. Basic Requirements

  • Possesses a Grade 12/Matric qualification, or currently pursuing their studies in Teaching (Degree education)
  • Must show upmost enthusiasm and passion for the field of teaching
  • Prepared to acquire new knowledge and other forms of teaching methods
  • Dedicated to participating in the school’s extra-mural activities.

2. Personal Competencies

  • Can work with other team members well
  • Shows impressive verbal and written communication abilities
  • Displays basic understanding of English
  • Has interpersonal abilities
  • Understands basic technological skills and prepared to delve more into this area.

Closing Date
Applications for the Wynberg Boys’ Junior School Learnership must be submitted before the closing date on 19 July 2021.

Announcements will only be made to shortlisted candidates by the very latest 1 October 2021. If you have not heard back anything from the selection committee by then, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for the programme.

Late applications will not be accepted by the selection committee. Anyone found to be making submissions past the deadline will automatically be disqualified from the registration period.

All decisions made by the selection committee are final during the registration period. Candidates found to be canvassing with the decisions made will be revoked of their registrations.
