The items are from well-known local vendors in South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
First and foremost, you must familiarize yourself with the WOA (Women of Africa) Fuels & Oils Bursaries’ eligibility standards. Each of these criteria will influence whether or not you would be an excellent candidate. The WOA (Women of Africa) Fuels & Oils Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Has finished your Matric qualification
  • Obtained at least a 60% score for your English results in Matric
  • Obtained at least a 50% score for your all your other subjects in Matric
  • Must be officially registered to pursue one of the study fields mentioned above
  • Must be officially registered to pursue your education at a recognized and well-accredited South African tertiary institution
  • Proven to require immediate financial assistance
  • Must be living in a rural area and originating from a Previously Disadvantaged Background
  • People with disabilities are highly encouraged to register.

Candidates are required to provide clear copies of the following documents:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document
  • A certified copy of your Matric certificate
  • A legitimate proof of your tertiary registration (must be on your institution’s letterhead)
  • A certified copy of your parents/guardians’ Identity Documents
  • A legitimate proof of income from your parets or guardians (e.g. your most recent pay slips if your are employed, a legitimate affidavit if you are unemployed, an informal trader, a legitimate proof of pension, or a grant if applicable).

Candidates must provide all of these documents. Incomplete application dossiers will not be considered for the registration period.

Closing Date
Applications for the WOA (Women of Africa) Fuels & Oils Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 30 June 2022.
