Key Responsibilities include:
- Acquiring skills in job planning and identifying required vehicle parts
- Learning how to properly clock job times and record accurate information
- Supporting qualified technicians with servicing and repairing vehicles
- Participating in prescribed technical training sessions
- Gaining an understanding of Repair Order Instructions prior to commencing work.
Apprenticeship Requirements
Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Automotive-related subjects will be an added advantage
- Strong technical aptitude with enthusiasm for motor vehicles
- Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics and Science as subjects
- Young, energetic, and eager to learn
- Good verbal communication skills (most training will be conducted in English).
