About the Vkb Agriculture Apprenticeships 2025
Vkb is currently seeking for applicants who would like to obtain an apprenticeship programme with the company in either the Electrician or Millwright field. The VKB Agriculture Apprenticeships provide valuable opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades. One of the key programs available is the Millwright Apprenticeship, where participants gain practical, hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced Millwrights. Apprentices are trained in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and applicable electrical codes
- Pull wires, bend conduit, and install circuit breakers and electrical panels
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision
- Keep tools, materials, and the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety guidelines and comply with electrical codes at all times
- Support licensed electricians throughout various project tasks.
