About the Value Logistics Learnership 2021-2022
Value Logistics is offering learnership programmes for ideal candidates who require a strong working foundation under a real-time logistics environment. The Value Logistics Learnership is a fantastic opportunity for young South African individuals to an accredited qualification. Upon being chosen for the programme, you will be subjected to a combination of theoretical assessments as well as practical working sessions to deepen your understanding of the company’s operations. Assisted by professional experts, you will have a supportive environment that will track down your learning progress along the way.

The Value Logistics Learnership is keeping their eye out for both male and female applicants. You also have the option of joining the learnership in either one of these three locations: Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, or Western Cape. The learnershsip will commence for a total period of 12 months, from 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025. Therefore, it is expected that candidates are willing to allocate a long period of their time to fully commit themselves into this programme. Successful learners of the learnership will be entitled to a NQF 4 FET Certificate in Transport Clerk & Supply Chain Practitioner NQF 5. This qualification will transform you into a valuable asset in the eyes of future employers.

Learnership Structure

  • Literacy and numeracy assessments will be conducted
  • You will undergo a criminal check
  • You will be required to attend theoretical classroom training, one week per month
  • You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 07H00 to 17H00, with the possibility of working overtime as and when required
  • Workplace experience will be within an operational environment
  • You will receive a monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria
The Value Logistics Learnership is only available for candidates who meet the programme’s requirements. While the programme is generally more open compared to other opportunities, it is important not to undermine these criteria. Candidates who fulfill these items are more than welcome to give this opportunity a shot. Failure to meet all the requirements will get you disqualified from the registration process.

The Value Logistics Eligibility Criteria are as listed below:

  • Not currently employed during the time of application and learnership
  • Possess an accredited Matric certificate with 50% pass rate
  • Between 23-29 years old.

Candidates are required to send in a comprehensive application dossier to any one of these e-mail addresses accordingly. Your dossier you contain these following documents:

  • Your most updated Curriculum Vitae
  • Original, certified copy of your South African Identity Document
  • Original, certified copy of your Matric Certificate
  • Valid copies of any other available qualifications that you may have.

For the e-mail applications, you will only need to send one copy of each document. However, should you get chosen for the opportunity, you will be required to provide four (4) copies of each document for the interview phase.
