About the Two Mountains Learnerships 2021-2022
Two Mountains is offering learnerships for dedicated individuals who wish to earn a proper working foundation about the South African funeral services industry. The Two Mountains Learnerships is a grand opportunity for young generation of learners to get to know the line of work before they embark on employment in the future. Through the Learnership, participants will be subjected to either one of these NQF-accredited programmes with the assistance of a professional training provider. Please be kindly informed that these learnerships are catered to both internal and external applicants.

The Two Mountains Learnerships will provide you a formal qualification that helps you to exceed in the competitive job market. Furthermore, the extensive working knowledge on financial planning, funeral arrangements, and funeral policies will greatly turn you into a more attractive working asset in the eyes of your employers. Learners will be treated to a combined curriculum that provides both theoretical assessments as well as practical working sessions in a real-time company setting. The Two Mountains Learnerships are offered for the following qualifications:

  • National Certificate in Contact Centre Operations (3 positions in Gauteng) – Ref. Number: LGA210213Y
  • National Certificate in Contact Centre Operations (3 positions in Mpumalanga) – Ref. Number: LGA210214Y
  • Long-Term Insurance (7 positions in Gauteng) – Ref. Number: LGA210212Y
  • Long-Term Insurance (7 positions in Limpopo) – Ref. Number: LGA210211Y

Note: all of the above programmes will be conducted from 01 February 2021. Each programme lasts for a total duration of 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria
Applications for the Two Mountains Learnerships are most welcome from candidates of different backgrounds. However, interested candidates must fulfill an eligibility criteria before moving forward with their applications. Each of these items below will determine whether you are qualified for the learnerships or not. Candidates are advised to fulfill all of these items in order to guarantee a successful application. Failure to do so will cause disadvantageous consequences towards the overall result of your applications.

The Two Mountains Learnerships Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Currently between 18-34 years old during the time of learnership
  • Can come up with creative solutions out of the box
  • Passionate about serving people through a customer-centric attitude
  • Always hungry for new knowledge
  • Displays high energy levels when performing their work.

Once you have obtained the application form, please fill it in with correct personal details. All provided information will be subjected to further evaluation and vetting by the selection committee. Candidates found to be falsifying any aspects of their applications will be disqualified from the registration period.

In addition, candidates must provide several important documents to support their application form:

  • A valid copy of your Identity Document
  • Your most updated CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Past Matric results/National Diploma Certificate
  • Application reference.

Closing Date
Applications for the Two Mountains Learnerships must be submitted before the closing date on 12 January 2021.

The selection committee has zero tolerance for late applications. Candidates found to be making their submissions past the deadline will not be acknowledged for the programme.

Announcements will only be made to candidates who have been shortlisted for the learnerships.
