I have started my Boilermaker apprenticeship in 1982 in fabrication workshop. Boilermaker status was give after 7 years of practical service. I started as Eskom, Matla Power Station as Boilermaker. I completed red seal Boilermaker trade test at Olifansfontein in 1993 where after I became Boilermaker and Welder supervisor on maintenance at Matla Power Station. Studied at SAIW as welding inspector and Radiographic Interpretation in 2006. Completed Magnetic Particle inspection and Liquid Penetrant testing at SANDE in 2006. I started at Raysonics as Welding Inspector and Non Destructive Examination Supervisor in 2006. In 2011 I started at DB Thermal as Welding/Quality manager. In 2019 I started at Renaissance Engineering SA as Site Superintendent on major General Overalls at Eskom Camden Power Station on Turbine Auxiliaries, High Pressure Vessels.
My goals are to make use of my experience to perform all tasks to the best of my abilities and to share my knowledge and experience with all my co-workers.
I believe I can be a positive asset to any company that employs me as I am a honest, punctual, hardworking and loyal person.
