The Tronox Scholarship Eligibliity Criteria are as follows:
- Be enrolled in Grade 9, 10, or 11 in 2025
- Achieve a minimum 65% average in your previous grade and in your current Grade’s Term 3 results
- Attain at least 65% in Mathematics for your previous grade and your current Grade’s Term 3 assessment
- Treat Physical Science performance as an added advantage
- Maintain a strong overall academic record
- Exclude Maths Literacy from your subject choices, as it will not be considered
- Confirm that you are a South African citizen
- Show clear evidence of financial need
- Live within the Saldanha or Matzikama Municipal Areas
- Attend a school registered with the Basic Education and Training (BET)
- Ensure you meet all of the requirements listed above
- Limit your application to South African citizens only
- Submit your application in full and on time, as incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
