About the Tronox Bursaries 2022
Tronox is offering financial assistance for bright-minded South African students who are pursuing your undergraduate degree studies (B Eng/B Tech/BSc). The Tronox Bursaries program is an all-inclusive program that accepts applicants from a variety of various backgrounds. As an awardee, you will receive all of the assistance you need to complete your academic degree or certificate program successfully. If you have consistently achieved high academic results while also demonstrating excellent traits as a student, you are strongly urged to apply for this position.

• Survey (Underground)
• Human Resources
• Industrial Engineering
• Mining Engineering
• Accounting
• Mechanical Engineering
• Geology
• Chemical Engineering
• Analytical Chemistry
• Information Technology.

Recipients of the Tronox Bursaries will be entitled to coverage for the following itmes: tuition expenses, prescribed study materials, residence fee allowances, allowance for daily meals.

Please be kindly informed that selected candidates are required to participate in practical work sessions as required by the institution.

Eligibility Criteria
If you’re certain of joining the Tronox Bursaries, feel free to sign up! If you are still unsure whether you’d make a good fit, don’t worry. All you have to do is check the requirements below and re-check your qualifications with the selection committee’s standards. If you’d like to stand a chance of acceptance, make sure you fulfill all of the criteria that are mentioned. Failure to do so might not get you automatically disqualified, but it could reduce your chances of acceptance.

The Tronox Bursaries Eligibliity Criteria are as follows:

• Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
• Planning to pursue or already pursuing their qualification in either one of the study fields mentioned above
• Has already been matriculated or currently in your 1st-4th year of your studies
• Planning to pursue or already pursuing in an accredited South African institution
• Obtained at least a minimum result of Level 6 for the subjects of Mathematics and Science, and a Level 5 for the subject of English in your Matric qualification (if you are not pursuing your studies yet)
• Obtained at least an overall average aggregate score of 65% within your recent studies (if you are studying at the moment)
• Preference is offered to candidates who are from the Matzikama and Saldanha municipal regions.

Closing Date
Applications for the Tronox Bursaries must be submitted before the closing date on 22 April 2022.

Late applications will not be accepted by the selection committee under any circumstances. Submissions that are received after the closing date will not be acknowledged during the term of registration.
