About the Total Energies Traineeship 2025
Total Energies is searching for applicants who would like to join the company and obtain new knowledge in their related work field with their professional Traineeship. The TotalEnergies Traineeship program spans a structured 24-month period, during which trainees are expected to engage in a comprehensive rotational system across multiple departments or functional areas within the organization. This design allows participants to gain a broad understanding of the company’s operations while building a versatile skill set.
Throughout the duration of the traineeship, each participant is required to consistently improve and demonstrate progress in their performance. As the 24-month period also serves as a probationary phase, trainees are encouraged to show dedication, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. Continuous development and excellence during this time are crucial, as they directly influence the trainee’s overall success in the program and potential for future opportunities within the company.
You will be asked to perform the duties below:
- Complete assigned training modules aimed at building technical competencies, industry-specific knowledge, and essential professional skills

- Observe and learn from experienced professionals by shadowing them in their daily duties and tasks

Eligibility Criteria

1. Basic Qualifications
- Obtain a Matric qualification as a basic requirement
- Hold a BTech or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, and be willing to relocate if necessary
- Possess a BTech or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or hold an NQF Level 5 Accounting Technician qualification.
2. Personal Attributes
- Gain 0–5 years of relevant work experience
- Maintain a strong academic record
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Show curiosity and a willingness to learn
