Eligibility Criteria

The Tech-Capital Bursary Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

  • Officially recognised as a black South African citizen (must be born in South Africa)
  • Must be living with a disability and recognised under the Disability Rights Unit
  • Pursuing towards an undergraduate IT qualification
  • Has an average academic track record of at least 65% or has obtained at least 65% for the
  • Grade 12 results slip if they’re currently in the first year of their studies.

After you have downloaded the application form, please read through the instructions before filling in the boxes. This is to prevent any incorrect application steps that could risk your success.

Please attach the following documents with your application form:

  • A certified copy of your Student Identity Document
  • Legitimate proof of disability
  • Legitimate proof of registration for your current year of study
  • Your most recent fee statement
  • Your most recent academic track record.

All these documents must be included in your application dossier. Incomplete dossiers will be disqualified from the programme.

By sending in your applications, you are hereby giving permission to the selection committee to have your personal information utilized for registration purposes.

Closing Date
Applications for the Tech-Capital Bursary must be submitted before the closing date on 03 December 2021.
