About the Tamasa Training Learnership 2022
Tamasa Training is giving out a learnership programme for 10 candidates who are interested in pursuing a Forestry National Qualification to boost them. The Tamasa Training Learnership is conducted in conjunction with the FP&MSETA. Selected learners will be required to attend theoretical knowledge (covering basic Mathematics and Communication modules) and practical learning sessions that are relevant to the Forest Industry.
Throughout the course of 12 months, candidates are expected to be fully committed to the programme. Upon successful completion of the learnership, candidates will be entitled to a General Education and Training Certificate: General Foresty NQF Level 1 (provided they show impressive progress throughout the learnership). Learners will be entitled to a monthly stipend as establihed in the SETA requirements.
Before submitting their applications for the Tamasa Training Learnership, candidates must first ensure that they meet the necessary qualifying requirements. Whether or not you are qualified to continue with this learnership will be determined by your performance on each of the criteria listed below. Candidates are strongly urged to satisfy all of the prerequisites listed below in order to ensure a successful application. Your applications will suffer negative effects if you do not complete this step. Ensure that you take note of these points for your own reference.
The following are the eligibility requirements for Tamasa Training Learnerships:
- Possesses a Grade 12 qualification (or equivalent)
- Currently between 18-35 years old
- Displays impressive communication abilities in English
- Has a good, solid understanding of basic Maths calculations
- Can be relied upon and can be entrusted with responsibilities.

The selection committee has absolute zero tolerance for late applications. Submissions made past the closing date will not be acknowledged during the registration period.
