Participants will gain exposure to key areas such as bank reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, management of debtors and creditors, FIC reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and additional administrative responsibilities, providing a comprehensive introduction to corporate finance operations.

The internship is offered by a client in the automotive industry who is seeking a finance graduate to join their Finance team in Gauteng. The positions are based in Johannesburg North and the East Rand, and the programme runs for 12 months, providing valuable professional development and insight into finance practices within a dynamic corporate environment.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and account allocations to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up to date
  • Manage debtors by receipting, allocating, and reporting transactions, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of outstanding payments
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts to assist in planning and monitoring the organization’s liquidity and financial health
  • Submit FIC reports as required, complying with regulatory standards and internal company policies
