Stefanutti Stocks is providing an opportunity for individuals interested in receiving practical work exposure through their Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic apprenticeship. The Stefanutti Stocks Apprenticeship is offering the 97582 – Occupational Certificate: Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Apprenticeship). This qualification is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills to work as Heavy Equipment Mechanics. Heavy Equipment Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, diagnosing faults in, and repairing heavy machinery, particularly in the earthmoving or mining sectors. Their work covers a range of systems, including engines, mechanical components, and hydraulically or electrically powered systems.

Upon completing the apprenticeship, a qualified learner will be able to perform a variety of tasks. These include carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Learners will also be trained to dismantle, assess, repair, and reassemble engine and powertrain system components. Additionally, they will acquire the skills necessary to diagnose and repair faults in heavy equipment diesel engines and powertrain systems.

You will also be required to perform the duties below:
