The Siemens Energy Bursaries is available for the following study courses:

• Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc)
• BSc IT
• Industrial Engineering (BEng/ BSc)
• Electronic Engineering (BEng/ BSc)
• Diplomas where applicable – (Digitalization, Automation, Software Development, Data Analytics and Machine Learning)
• B. Tech Equivalent (Engineering Technologists)
• Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc).

As an awardee, you will be expected to work for the company upon successful graduation of their studies for the total years spent under the bursary.

Awardees of the bursaries will be entitled to coverage for the following items:

• Registration fees
• Tuition expenses
• Examination costs
• Prescribed study materials
• Accommodation costs
• Daily meals (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who wish to sign up for the Siemens Energy Bursaries must fulfill an extensive eligibility criteria before moving forward. To guarantee a successful application, it’s recommended that you tick off all these items in the list below. Each of these items will play an integral role in decided whether you’d make a good awardee for the bursaries or not. Failure to fulfill everything might not get you automatically disqualified from the registration. However, it could reduce your chances of acceptance.

The Siemens Energy Bursaries Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

• Officially recognised as a citizen of South Africa
• Currently between 18-25 years old
• Unemployed during the programme
• Must be pursuing an education at a local accredited higher education institution
• Finished their Matric/Grade 12 qualification
• Is not a recipient of any other forms of bursaries
• Has an average aggregate score of at least 65% when registering for the bursary.
