Shoe City Learnership 2022-2023: Offering X25 Positions for Unemployed Individuals
About Shoe City
Shoe City is a renowned specialty footwear shop in Southern Africa, selling fashionable and reasonably priced footwear for men, women, and children. Shoe City caters to customers in all age groups. In 1986, the first Shoe City shop debuted in Bellville in an industrial warehouse that was 500 square meters in size. The business was an immediate hit when it initially opened its doors. There were 65 locations by the year 2000, and there was no indication that this expansion was going to be hindered.
Shoe City joined the Pepkor Group in 2005, becoming a part of a much larger family in the process. This helped the company to expand even further, making fashionable footwear that is also inexpensive accessible to a broader customer base. By 2007, 95 new shops have been established around the country. Shoe City has abandoned its industrial origins and adopted a more modern appearance in response to the increasing popularity of retail malls as tourist attractions.
