This entry-level opportunity is designed for recent Quantity Surveying graduates who want to build practical experience in project estimating, budgeting, cost control, and project management within a professional engineering and construction environment. It provides participants with valuable hands-on exposure while helping them develop the technical knowledge and workplace skills needed for a successful career in the industry.
You will be required to perform the duties below:
- Assist senior estimators and cost control specialists with developing and applying estimating and cost control strategies that align with project goals and client requirements
- Support the preparation of project cost estimates, budgets, cash flow projections, and detailed cost reports
- Monitor project expenses and help identify cost variances, potential risks, and opportunities to improve cost efficiency
- Participate in quantity take-offs by measuring the materials, labour, and equipment required for project execution
