About the Seriti Coal Experiential Learnership 2025
Seriti Coal is seeking for applicants who would like to obtain an experiential learner programme to improve their abilities and skills in the prospective mining field. The Seriti Experiential Learnership provides students in mining-related fields with valuable work-integrated learning opportunities (P1 & P2). This program is designed to align with the practical training requirements set by tertiary institutions, ensuring that learners gain hands-on industry experience while meeting their academic obligations. Through this initiative, participants will have the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world mining environment, enhancing their skills and preparing them for future career opportunities.

This Experiential Learner P1 & P2 program is offered at Seriti Coal’s Khutala Colliery in Mpumalanga, specifically for external candidates from host communities. The initiative supports local talent development by prioritizing learners from surrounding areas, fostering growth within the community while equipping participants with essential industry expertise.

  • Be in your final year of study or have completed your qualification at a recognized institution requiring practical training (P1 & P2) in fields such as Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Surveying
  • Enroll in a recognized South African institution
  • Hold South African citizenship.
