You will also be required to perform the duties below:

• Guarantee the safe delivery of goods and cargo
• Make sure both the vehicle and yourself comply with the National Road Traffic Act as well as Ladismith Powder’s policies and regulations
• Ensure all documents, goods, and samples are delivered or collected promptly and without damage
• Maintain proper control over all documents at all times
• Follow the daily route schedule strictly and avoid any deviations without prior authorization
• Do not transport unauthorized goods or personnel
• Keep company vehicles in excellent condition and clean
• Ensure the safety of the vehicle, cargo, and people at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck as needed
• Prioritize punctuality, neatness, and precision-these are essential and non-negotiable.

General Duties as Driver

• Drive clients daily to their desired destinations
• Maintain the vehicle, ensuring it remains safe and clean
• Use navigation apps to find the best route
• Plan driving routes ahead of time to identify the most efficient trip
• Pick up clients from the specified location at the agreed-upon time
• Collect payments and issue receipts promptly
• Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
• Stay updated on road conditions by listening to traffic and weather reports
• Adjust the route as needed to avoid heavy traffic or road construction
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and nearby places of interest
• Ensure car seats are clean and comfortable for all passengers
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any vehicle issues
• Book car wash and detailing services to keep the car clean inside and out.
