About the SBV YES Learnership 2025
SBV is currently seeking for applicants who would like to obtain a YES learnership opportunity to better their abilities and skills in their respective career paths. The SBV YES Learnership involves delivering comprehensive HR services and administration for the center. This includes managing all aspects of HR operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. A key responsibility is maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records, both manual and electronic, and ensuring proper filing systems are in place to support organizational needs.
Engagement with key stakeholders is essential, including General Managers, Centre Managers, and Heads of Departments, to address HR-related matters effectively. Additionally, the role requires responding to employee inquiries in alignment with company policies, procedures, and processes. Coordination of interview sessions is also a critical duty, which involves arranging schedules, leading discussions with panel members and candidates, and assisting in compiling scores to identify suitable candidates.
The learnership also includes preparing ad-hoc reports as needed by the business and verifying the accuracy of monthly governance reports from the HR Shared Service Officer. This involves reviewing cost center links, movements, and requested changes. Another responsibility is ensuring compliance with employment equity requirements, such as verifying that the EE Plan is displayed within the center.
In terms of employee relations, the role includes consulting and advising line management on grievance processes, disciplinary actions, appeal procedures, and CCMA hearing outcomes. Furthermore, the position plays a key role in driving change initiatives within the center, ensuring seamless integration, maintaining support systems, and providing feedback to the HR Business Partner and Line Manager. Lastly, the learnership requires fostering organizational culture activities that align with the company’s strategy and values.
