About the SBV YES Learnership 2025
SBV is currently seeking for applicants who would like to obtain a YES learnership opportunity to better their abilities and skills in their respective career paths. The SBV YES Learnership is currently open for the field of Cash Processor. You will be required to deliver the following outputs:
- Accept deposits and accurately update records in the designated system
- Follow all company policies and procedures to minimize risks for both the business and customers
- Inspect containers and bags for any signs of damage or tampering, and immediately report any irregularities to the Team Controller
- Log the receipt of containers or bags into the system for tracking purposes
- Process all deposits in compliance with the bank’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using the appropriate system
- Sort all prepared deposits and notes (FDP/ACDP) within the required cutoff times on the same day
- Forward rejected notes to the Reject Teller along with PCD cards, deposit slips, and stop-loss bags for verification and balancing
- Conduct a reconciliation of all rejected notes to confirm the accuracy of recorded information
- Manually inspect rejected notes for counterfeits, dye stains, or mutilation
- Examine containers and bags for any signs of tampering or damage, reporting any concerns to the Team Controller
- Confirm the receipt of containers or bags by registering them in the system
- Process bulk coin deposits in line with SBV’s established policies and procedures
- Sort and handle teller coin transfers efficiently
- Prepare a display board with the client’s name, date, denomination, and operator details, and present it to the camera for record-keeping.

- Complete the SBV Cash Processor Training program to ensure competency in cash handling.
