About the Sasol Learnerships 2021
Sasol is offering learnership programmes of South African individuals who are interested in obtaining practical work exposure in a real-time company setting. The Sasol Learnerships is on the search for bright-minded candidates who are ready to be a part of their
Learner Mining or Learner Electro Mechanic programmes. The learnerships are held in the areas of Secunda, Mpumalanga. Learners are trained to become qualified miners or mechanics, in which all training credentials are accredited by the South African Mining Qualification Authority.
The learnership expect candidates to be fully committed throughout the entire duration of the learnerships. Furthermore, candidates must be prepared for any underground working situations. Female candidates are more than encouraged to participate in the learnerships.
Upon successful completion of the Sasol Learnerships, you will be entitled to a permanent Blasting Certificate for fiery mines, or EM Trade Certificate – provided that you maintain impeccable progress throughout the learnership. The Sasol Learnerships Eligibility Criteria are as folllows:
1. Educational Requirements
A. Learner Miner Possesses at least a Grade 11/N2 qualification and higher Passed Mathematics with a minimum 40% score (excluding Mathematics on lower grade, Functional Mathematics, and Mathematics Literacy) Passed English/Business English.
B. Learner Electro Mechanic
- Possesses a Grade 12/N3 qualification
- Passed Mathematics with a minimum 40% score (excluding Mathematics on lower grade, Functional Mathematics, and Mathematics Literacy)
- Passed Physical Science/Engineering Science with a minimum 40% score
- Passed English/Business English
- Have a commitment to excel and complete on the training programme.
